TypeTab Onboarding Guide (1-minute read)

Pin TypeTab to your toolbar for easy access
Click at the end of the address bar to pin TypeTab. Doing so allows you to control autocompletion on/off and and see your usage metrics.

3 steps to activate TypeTab
- Sign up or log in using your Google account
- Select a product plan and entered payment method—take advantage of the free trial!
- Refresh your gmail page to activate TypeTab on it
You can change product, payment method, and subscription by going to the user portal.
Quick reference guide
Action | How To |
---|---|
Generate autocomplete | Start typing in a new draft or reply. TypeTab will show suggestions in gray after a half-second pause. |
Accept autocomplete | Press the Tab key. Get in the rhythm of type, tab, type, tab! |
Dismiss autocomplete | Keep typing (press any key other than Tab) or click anywhere else. |
Pause or Resume autocomplete | Click the TypeTab icon in browser toolbar and toggle “Enable Autocomplete”. |
